Kudzu Studio's after-school arts program is created on a pay by month plan. Class fees are calculated based on how many classes are in that month. All classes are 1. hours long and explore a wide variety of materials and processes inspired by historical and contemporary artists, art movements, seasons, holidays and most importantly, the interests of the artists themselves. Nestled in the neighbourhood of Bear Mountain, tween and teens will create silk painted mushrooms, explore image transfers while creating a self-portrait mixed media painting and collage holiday cards inspired by German Dada artist, Hannah Hoch.
Please note that creating art can get messy and stain clothing, please dress accordingly. Feel free to bring an allergy-free snack and water in a no-spill container from home.
