Young artists will have lots of fun creating observational drawings during these one-hour virtual art classes. We will create ink drawn tea cups and charcoal drawings of grocery items on actual brown paper grocery bags. We'll explore Van Gogh's sketches while making drawings of our favourite shoe and create origami's we will then sketch with graphite. We'll create a page of circle drawings of close-up butterfly wings and abstract marker drawings of sea shells. We'll even have some fun doodling a ship inside a bottle and try out drawing with white gel pens on black paper. Class size is small to create a supportive and fun environment with lots of one on one attention.

- pencils (H and B lead)

- black ballpoint pen
- ultra fine and fine black sharpie
- colour markers
- pencil crayons
- charcoal or black oil pastel (parent choice as charcoal is dusty)
- brown paper grocery bag
- artist's favourite shoe
- cup or glass to trace circles
- white gel pen
- black construction paper or dark colour card stock
