Young artists will create works of art inspired by both contemporary and historical artists. In these weekly virtual classes, we'll create a paper flower sculpture inspired by Vancouver artist Tara Lee Bennett, create a mixed media botanical painting inspired by UK artist Angela A'Court and use clay with canvas to create a work of art inspired by Betty Woodman.
Supply List
- watercolour paper
- canvas board or stiff cardboard
- air dry clay or oven bake clay
- card stock paper (can be coloured if artist chooses)
- scissors
- nail scissors
- glue stick
- oil pastels
- acrylic paint- primary colours, white and black
- container for water
- paint brush- small, medium and large
- pencil/eraser
- black permanent marker
- masking tape (optional)
- rag/paper towel
