During one hour weekly virtual classes, tweens and teens will look closer at the ideas behind the artworks created by artists in Canada, North American and beyond. Tween and teen artists will create art inspired by the conceptual works of On Kawara, Guy Pellerin, Jeffrey Spalding and M.A. Tateishi. We'll explore ideas focusing on time, rituals, memory and hard work to come up with our own big ideas while working in a variety of mediums including sculpture, painting and mixed media.

- watercolour paper
- acrylic paint (primary colours, white and black)
- pencil/eraser
- found objects for printing (bubble wrap, plastic utensils, etc)
- painter or masking tape
- high gloss medium (optional for sealing finished painting)
- bag of rubber bands
- black ink
- paint brush- small, medium and large
- box
- newspaper or other found paper
- container for water
- paper towel or rag
