In this virtual week long camp, young artists will explore a wide variety of art mediums while creating their own succulents and cacti. We'll explore perspective while creating cactus sunsets, create clay sculptures of plants that never need watering, experiment with ink and watercolour washes and make a graphite botanical drawing.
Supply List
- watercolour paper
- acrylic paint- primary colours, white and black
- small, medium and large paintbrushes
- pencil and eraser
- black oil pastel
- air dry clay or homemade salt dough
- found objects for sculpting (popsicle stick, toothpick, etc)
- fine tip sharpie or black ballpoint pen
- watercolours
- container for water
- graphite stick (soft lead) or pencil
- gummy eraser or square office eraser
